Gisburn Limousin Sired Primestock Show
The inaugural Primestock Show & Sale held at Gisburn Auction Mart on Thursday, 25th March 2010 saw the Limousin-sired Champion make the overall top price per kilo of 234p and was the highest priced of any breed.

Judges Jim Wood & Geoff Nutter put up as their Champion a 508kg Limousin-sired heifer consigned by J A Mellin, Long Preston when selling to Whiteside Butchers, Colne for £1,188. Reserve at 201p was the top priced steer of the day, again beating competition from other breeds. This was for a 470kg animal consigned by R W Longton, Warrington which again went to Whiteside Butchers.
