Top prime cattle honours at the Christmas Fatstock Show and Sale on Monday 4th December 2017 at Wharfedale Farmers Auction Mart Ltd, Otley went to D J & J E Wilson of Crook House Farm, Harome, York with a March 2016 born Limousin cross heifer.
The cracking heifer was purchased by Hutchinson’s Butchers of Main Street, Ripley, Harrogate, she weighed in at 545kg and sold for an impressive £2725 or £5 per kg.
