Limousin Breeder, local to Exeter Livestock Centre achieved the Top Price of £5,250 at the South West Limousin Spring Sale on Friday 22nd April.
Patrick and Sheila Greed, Columbjohn Farm, Rewe Exeter sold Killerton Rivet, sired by Foxhillfarm Montreal, out of Killerton Jarvis and carries the F94/NT821 myostatin. Rivet a smart November 2020 born bull was knocked down at £5,250 to BH & CS Vallence, Owlacombe Farm, Bickington.
Next in Line was Loosebeare Raheem from EW Quick & Sons, Zeal Monachorum, Crediton selling to £4,620. Raheem being September 2020 born and sired by Ambertaine Jeronimo, out of Loosebeare Fruity which goes back to Proctors Commander, selling to RF Jones, Barham Farm, South Molton.
Again, from the EW Quick & Sons, Quickeeze Rose achieved £3,150, November 2020 born, sired by Loosebeare Legend which goes back to Loosebeare Fantastic, from the homebred Dam Loosebeare Mavis going back to Lodge Hamlet, Rose was sold to SC Voysey, Charlista, Blackhat Lane, Exeter.
Bulls averaged an amazing £4,003.
Top price heifer went to Highridge Roxie at £1,890 from Garry & Lorraine Dunn, Sampford Courtenay, Okehampton. Roxie was sired by Pointhouse Nintynine and from the homebred Dam Highridge Moria, being purchased by PD Rowell & Son, Winscombe, Crockerwell.
