This years Scottish Grand Prix was held at a very wet and windy Turriff Show on Monday the 4th of August 2025. Attracting the cream of Limousin breeding from Scotland, exhibitors battled the difficult conditions to provide a tremendous line up of Limousin cattle with 43 animals forward in what is a hotly contested event on the Scottish show calendar.

Judging duties were in the capable hands of Craig Douglas, stockman at the Whinfellpark herd. In what was a day for the Limousin females, Craig awarded his overall Limousin champion to the female champion, Grahams Umandy from R & J Graham, Airthrey Kerse Dairy Farm, Stirling. This November 2023 born heifer is sired by Gunnerfleet Lion and is out of the Wilodge Vantastic daughter Ironstone Dumandy. Not stopping there Grahams Umandy went on to dominate the beef interbreed sections teaming up with stable mate Grahams Vibrent to be crowned champion interbreed pairs. She then went on to be crowned overall interbreed champion and not stopping there, then claiming the coveted champion of champions title. This follows on from success at the Highland show where Umandy clinched reserve female champion.
