Italian World Congress Wows British Delegates!
The British Limousin Cattle Society had an excellent representation at the XVIII International Limousin Congress held in Italy in May with approximately 40 delegates making the trip from the UK. They were joined by 200 other delegates from 20 countries in all for the nine day core event. In what was a truly spectacular Congress delegates discovered the high quality of Italian cattle, the warm welcome of Limousin breeders and the beauty and history of Italy. Farm visits, a national show, and a highly informative technical conference entitled “The Future Perspectives of Limousin in the World” were set in some fantastic locations including Rome, Florence and Piacenza. Throw in an audience with the Pope and it all added up to a most memorable Limousin event.
