A Limousin heifer took the honours at Northallerton Auctions Christmas show held on 5 December.
The champion beast from D & P A Bowe, Quarry House, Gatenby, Northallerton weighed in at 514kg and sold for £5.62 per kg or £2888 to local butchers J Thompson.
