Judge at the Pre-Sale Show on Sunday was Andrew Clark of the Mayfields herd near Sheffield. Andrew is a member of the Society’s Council of Management. He runs pedigree Limousin and Charolais herds, alongside a butchery and farm shop. His current stock bull Dyke Toyboy, was top price bull, 17,000gns, at this sale last year.
Of the show and sale, Andrew said “the overall standard of bulls was very good, for pedigree and commercial use. It is a nice type of bull that comes to Stirling, good conformation, plenty of length and ready for work. It was a pleasure to judge and great to see breeders rewarded with sound trade, many to repeat customers routinely investing in Limousin”
