A Production Sale under BLCS Breeders’ Sale rules on behalf of Ballymena-based Mr Derek Frew takes place at Ballymena Mart on Wednesday 28th March, 7.30pm with stock available to view from 5pm.
Following on from last year’s successful sale, which saw Frewstown calves feature in the prize line-up for their new owners at the 2011 Balmoral Show, on offer are 18 bull calves and 5 heifer calves all born in 2011.
This year’s line-up features calves sired by the proven stock bulls Mereside Topman and Carmorn Cantona. These bulls have surpassed all expectations to date breeding well-shaped cattle with style and great temperaments. This will be the last batch of Topman calves to hit the marketplace and viewing on sale day is highly recommended.
The Frewstown Herd has earned a reputation for well-made cattle that go on and excel for purchasers and owner Derek Frew extends a warm welcome to his sale. “It is important to me that my cattle go on and perform well in other herds, and reports have been very good to date”.
