Carlisle early spring show and sale of bulls – off to a good start

One of the early entries which made good money was Plumtree Filbert (lot 109), entered by Paul Cairns. By Cloughead Umpire, he was knocked down at 14,000 gns.  Filbert has
a beef value of +32, and won first prize at the 40th anniversary show. He is full brother to Plumtree Deus, which sold for 35,000gns here in February 2010.
