Another bull going for 7,000 from Nether Hall farm Ltd – Netherhall Gaffer by Attirant and out of Parkhouse Angel will be heading to Tom Clyde from Antrim Northern Ireland.
Quality bull Netherhall Goliath reached 17,000gns sold to Mr Lee of Morley Hill, Hexham, another Attirant sired bull out of Cloughhead Ainsi.
………. and with the fall of the last hammer of the day that concludes the British Limousin Spring May Sale of Bulls for Borderway Mart, Carlisle.
At the end of the day the averages for the 110 bulls sold are 6,800 gns (this is still to be confirmed) but is a record average for a May sale and the second highest average at a Limousin sale following on from February’s all breed record.
48,000gns is a record price for a pedigree Limousin bull by a breeder from Northern Ireland and also the highest price paid by a purchaser from Northern Ireland.
