Class Five – first time exhibitor at Carlisle K & C Knox from Co Fermanagh have just picked up a first prize ticket with their August 2011 born Beachmount Goodgirl. This heifer is a Cloughhead Umpire daughter and is out of the Sympa sired Beachmount Ebony. A good show of heifers over from Northern Ireland has been continued with William McAlister winning Class Six with another Haltcliffe Vermount daughter this time, Artnagullion Ganoush.
At the close of class Six we will be taking a break from Red Ladies judging and moving on to judge the Weaned Calves… thereafter James Callion will return to his Red Ladies Championships. In all there are just under 40 weaned calves and ringside report says it is a good show of calves.
