Great Yorkshire Show 9th – 11th July
Once again we will be having a stand on all three days at the Yorkshire show. All donations of cakes and biscuits would be greatly appreciated or if you could give up an hour of your time to help Phyllis and the team on the stand. All of your hard work is appreciated!

Visit to Garrowby Farms on Sunday 30th June at 1.30pm

The directions to Garrowby Farms are: A166 from York , come through Stamford Bridge continue on another 4 miles until you see the first turning on the left to Bugthorpe, come into village and opposite the church turn right before the post office. The village hall is on the left and the farm entrance straight after (Freestone House Farm).

Bull and Heifer Derby
All the 1st and 2nd prize winners at shows held within the North East qualify to the Bull and Heifer Derby. These animals must have been born in 2012 and must be home-bred. It is to be held on Monday the 23rd September at Nidderdale Show, Pately Bridge. Please call Susan Monk, the secretary to book your place on 01969 650129.
Good to see a north east bred lim steer win the commercial steer champ at GYS and beef expo ! Sired by a north east bull and a north east bred grand dam.
