Further to the April 2013 Notice To Members, promotional leaflet, and Spring 2013 Magazine, Members are reminded to please consider, complete and return their booking forms for the inaugural BLCS Social Weekend. Please note, the closing date for bookings is Wednesday 31st July (extended slightly from previous), so please book early to avoid disappointment.

We very much hope that you will consider attending what we think is a good value programme for a fun and relaxing weekend.  The end of July booking date is necessary so that we can maximise the potential of the weekend and finalise the programme with the hotel as soon as possible.

Based in and around the beautiful spa-town of Harrogate, North Yorkshire and staying at the 4* Majestic Hotel, the Social Weekend will be held between 25^th and 27^th October and will include a visit to the Tomschoice Herd of James & Sarah Cooper, Hill Top Farm, Lane Foot Road, Dacre, Harrogate on the Saturday.

At a snapshot the weekend includes two nights’ accommodation, Friday drinks reception & dinner, Saturday breakfast, farm walk and lunch, followed by evening reception, dinner & dancing.  Sunday morning sees a leisurely breakfast followed by departures thereafter.  Prices start at £250 for a single and £345 per couple sharing.

The four star Majestic Hotel is well appointed and complemented with the availability of a swimming pool, fitness facilities, and the availability of spa treatments.

Harrogate needs no introduction as one of the ‘jewels’ of North Yorkshire with plenty of venues and attractions to browse, lunch, partake, purchase, and socialise!
