An excellent visit was held on Tuesday 11th February at 7pm at Woodheads slaughter house at Colne, where members were shown round by Michael Winchester.
Congratulations to the Limousin team who won the 2014 interbreed quiz. The quiz was held once again at The Anchor Inn, Whixley and the team was made up of Karl Suddes, Keith Wilson, Phyllis Orton, John Swales, John, Claire and Annabel Mason. We will be hosting the quiz in 2015!!

9th April – Stock judging evening kindly hosted by James and Sarah Cooper of the Tomschoice herd at 7pm. Hill Top farm, Dacre, Near Harrogate, HG3 4AF. Everyone welcome!
Once again the Northern Limousin Extravaganza show is to be held at Craven Cattle Marts, Skipton on Tuesday 13th May at 2.30pm which allows you to bring show animals born in 2013 into a safe environment before the show season. There will also be a BBQ and open judging competition.
The Club show and sale at Leyburn Auction mart will be held this year on the 16th May. Entry forms will be sent out in the future.
We will also this year be having a stand at The National Beef Association Beef Expo at Hexham auction on 22nd May.
We are still looking for suggestions for cattle to be put on the stand would be extremely helpful if you could please let Karl know ASAP. Phyllis and the team would also appreciate for any donations of cakes and biscuits to hand out with tea and coffee! Please come and join us for refreshments on the stand!
The next visit is to the Hazard family’s Mereside herd at Saltby Heath farm, Grantham, Lincolnshire, NG33 5HL more details will be sent nearer the times.
