The NI Limousin Club is organising the NI Limousin Championships as well as an Open Evening on Sat 26th July. The location is perfect for travellers coming across to visit as it is only 10 minutes away from Belfast International Airport and approx 35 miles away from the port of Larne.

Starting at 9am on the Saturday, the NI Limousin Championships will be held at Antrim Agricultural Show Grounds in the picturesque settings of Shanes Castle, Antrim.  This event will have a total of 14 classes which comprises of 10 pedigree Limousin classes ranging from female and bull calf classes, junior classes, intermediate and senior classes also 4 commercial classes both bull & heifers, sired by a Limousin bull, and born in 2013 & 2014. It is also anticipated that Antrim Show will also be the venue for the YLBC Anglo-Irish stockjudging Championships.

To finalise the day we have arranged for a farm Open Evening starting at 6pm to be held at Larkhill Pedigree Herd, owned by Brian & Cahir McAuley with a BBQ, Farm Walk and entertainment.

  1. just back from an excellent evening at the McAuley’s Larkhill farm in Antrim. Fine food, entertainment and great craic for all. Many thanks to the perfect hosts who clearly went right out of their way to provide the great evening.
