Top Prime Cattle honours at the Christmas Fatstock Show and Sale on Monday 5th December 2016 at Wharfedale Farmers Auction Mart Ltd, Otley went to Richard Stevenson of J H Stevenson & Son, Farnley, Otley with a Homebred Limousin Steer sired by Cwmpedran Danzyjones.
This cracking beast won the Frank Ackroyd Silver Perpetual Trophy for Overall Champion & The Brontemoor Limousin Perpetual Trophy for Champion Steer. When sold it weighed 560kg & made 375p/kg or £2100.00 selling to James Robertshaw of Keelham Farm Shops in Skipton & Thornton, Bradford.
