Nick and Lisa Hill who run the Quaish Herd in Cheddar, Somerset took a fantastic collection of honours at the Royal Bath and West Show held in Shepton Mallet over the period 30th May to 2nd June.

Having taken the Breed Championship in front of Judge Mr Dougie McBeath of the Springsett Herd in Stirling with their home-bred four-year old cow Quaish Ivy and Reserve with their Powerful Irish daughter Wilodge Larimar, they went onto singlehandedly secure the Interbreed Pairs, the Exhibitor Bred Interbreed Team of Three and the Interbreed group of Four Championships. All the teams were made up entirely by cattle from the Quaish Herd.

Having won his class in the Limousin judging their nine month old young bull Quaish Nononsense went onto be tapped out as the Champion Continental Calf and then the Overall Interbreed Champion Calf. Home-bred Nononsense is by Garnedd Deian out of Quaish Governess.

Judge Dougie McBeath paid tribute to the Hill team; he said “It was a pleasure to judge their cattle, all so professionally presented and paraded, a real credit to the whole team”
