HOW TO ORDER MY GENETIC TESTS

To place an order for any genetic test using DNA…

• Login to taurusdata.co.uk in the usual manner
• From ‘My Page’ select ‘Place My Order’
• Follow the step by step instructions to select your animals and the tests you would like for them

Hair sample bags will be sent to you from the BLCS office upon receipt of your order. These will be pre-printed with your animals’ details. Please return them to the BLCS once you have taken your hair sample. See ‘Sampling Procedures’ above if you are unsure about how to take a hair sample for this purpose.

HOW TO VIEW MY GENETIC TEST RESULTS

For each of the single gene tests and for GEBVs, you will receive an automated email when your results are available. To view them…

• Login to taurusdata.co.uk in the usual manner
• From ‘My Page’ select ‘View/Publish Genotyping Results’
• Follow the quick step-by-step instructions to view and publish the results for each of the tested animals in your ownership.
• Parent verification results are currently issued by post
