Pedigree Limousin In-Calf Cows “Peak” at 4,200gns
A Major Reduction Sale of the Peak Herd on behalf of Bob and Mary Furness, Peak Forest held at Newark Livestock Market on 24th February 2010 saw trade reach 4,200gns for the April 2005 born Limousin cow Peak Anyra.
Trade was brisk from the outset with all the cows being sold PD’d in calf 6-8 months. Top price at 4,200gns was Peak Anyra, a Wintles Othello daughter, and out of Peak Nyra. She was sold PD’d 8 months in calf to Peak Clover to Peter Hunt, Ashford in the Water, Bakewell who purchased a total of 24 head including the top six lots.
