Wilodge Eyecandy from Christine Williams made 9,000gns and led the Limousin Breeders Sale held on Friday 4th July at Carlisle’s Borderway Mart. This January 2009 born female is by Millbrook Tanko and is out of the herd’s famous cow Ravenelle. She was sold with a heifer calf at foot Wilodge Icandy with the outfit being purchased by Danny Sawrij for his Swalesmoor pedigree herd Kedzlie Farm, Blainsie, Lauderdale.
The sale saw consignments from the Grahams, Whinfellpark, Wilodge, Eves and Barrons herds respectively.
The second top price of the day was the 8,000gns paid for the pick of the Whinfellpark heifers sired by the world record priced Dolcorsllwyn Fabio. Charlie Boden of the Sportsmans pedigree herd will now visit Whinfellpark to choose from the 15 calves on offer.
Leading the consignment from R & J Graham was the French bred stock bull Frankyben. 2010 born this bull is by Achille and is out of Bettyben
