It is nearly here!! The Northern Limousin Extravaganza show 2014, which is to be held at Craven Cattle Marts, Skipton on Tuesday 13th May at 2.30pm which allows you to bring show animals born in 2013 into a safe environment before the show season. ENTRIES ARE NOW CLOSED. Everyone is welcome to come along to watch the event as well as enter the open stock judging competition, where there is prize money to be won! Also there will be a FREE BBQ in the evening, kindly organised by the Mason family.
The following day is the Skipton pedigree Limousin sale, with viewing on the Tuesday night also. Both days are to be judged by Chris Jerman of the Glangwden herd.
The Club show and sale at Leyburn Auction mart will be held this year on the 16th May. Entry forms have been sent out or are available on the Leyburn Auction website.
This year the National Beef Association Beef Expo is to be held at Hexham auction on 22nd May, where the North East Limousin breeders club is having a stand.
We really require some helpers on the stand and so would appreciate you giving up a small amount of time if you are there to give a helping hand.
Phyllis and the team would also appreciate for any donations of cakes and biscuits to hand out with tea and coffee! Please come and join us for refreshments on the stand!

Young Limousin Breeders
Are you aged between 10 and 28? Fancy joining the Young Limousin breeders club, where we are currently looking to try and make a team of three to enter the Young Show stars of the future competition at Beef Expo at Hexham, this will involve a stock judging competition on the Wednesday and a clipping and showing of an animal on the Thursday. If you are interested please let me know as soon as possible.
Also we are looking to take a team of Young breeders from the North East club to the national judging competition where you will be judging against all of the other regional clubs. This is to be held at Royal Three Counties show on Saturday 14th June at 2pm. Anybody interested, please let me know as soon as possible and then we can sign you up as members. Thank you
