Commercial Entry Form 2016 FINAL
Entries are starting to roll in and we are confident that there is going to be a bumper entry that will turn the day into a fantastic Limousin breed showcase. It will be a great spectacle and one that we hope you will very much want to be a part of. The event will be held in one day on Friday 29th July in the Showhall at Borderway Mart, Carlisle.
Upcoming May Limousin Sales
The round of May Sales at Ballymena, Stirling, Carlisle and Brecon is fast approaching. BLCS staff will be in attendance at each event and will also have entry forms with them and will be able to answer any other questions that you may have around the 2016 NLS.
£20,000 Prize Fund on offer deep into the classes
A £20,000 prize fund is up for grabs with prize monies going deep into the classes. The Supreme Champion in the pedigree and commercial sections will each receive a handsome cheque for £1000. There will also be significant cash prizes for the winners of the various ‘Specials’. The aim is also to give first prize winners £100 with cash prizes available all the way down to tenth. It is hoped that the prize monies will be rewarding but also act to encourage as many entries as possible.
A special and unique event…don’t miss it!
The 2016 National Limousin Show will, we fully anticipate, attract the very best of Limousin genetics from around the UK. The Limousin breed continues to drive the British beef industry and as such this will be a much anticipated and high profile event that is sure to draw not only a big entry of cattle, but also a large crowd and significant media interest. With the National Show only being held once every five years it really is quite a special event and unique in beef terms in the numbers it is likely to attract. It’s definitely one not to be missed and we’d love to see you there with cattle, spectating, or both!
