A great day out was enjoyed by all on Sunday 5th August to David and Maggie’s Netherhall herd near Kirby Lonsdale. There was a tremendous show of cattle and a big thank you to the Kelly family for their great hospitality.

Bull and heifer derby-
All the 1st and 2nd prize winners at shows held within the North East qualify to the bull and heifer derby. These animals must be born in 2011 and must be homebred. It is to be held on Monday 24th September at Nidderdale Show, Pately Bridge. Please call Susan Monk the secretary to book your place on 01969 650129.
AGM meeting 9th October
The AGM meeting will be held at The Bay Horse, Goldsborough at 7.30pm. All members welcome with supper at the end.
20th and 21st October – Countryside Live
Once again the North East club will be having a stand at Countryside Live at The Yorkshire showground,Harrogate. If you are willing to help out that would be great and any donations of cakes and biscuits would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Dinner – Friday 26th October
Once again the North East club is having their annual dinner at The Bridge at Walshford with herd competition results by judge Mr W Cowx. Tickets will be available from Phyllis Orton on 01423330324 or 07808916636.
Ideas for 2013 Programme
I would be really grateful if you could possibly send in ideas for the 2013 programme so we can get organized earlier. Ideas could include speakers, visits and farms to hold the annual club judging competition. Thank you.
