The early spring show and sale at Brecon mart took place on Saturday 3rd February. In what is only the fourth staging of the event nine bulls found new homes.

Topping the sale at 3850gns was Killerton Manu from Mr & Mrs PW & SM Greed, Columbjohn Farm, Devon. The May 2016 born bull, who came to the sale with a beef value in the top 1% of the breed, is by Emslies Horny out of Killerton Georgia. Making the top bid of the day was PJ Haynes & Sons, Meadow Farm, Thorpe Langton, Market Harborough for their Langton herd.

Following on at 3700gns was Nealford Master from JH Neale & Son. The Ampertaine Foreman son, who is out of one of the herds best cows Nealford Tracy, also came to Brecon displaying some great EBV’s. He made his way home with ASL & D Lewis, Llanbister, Llandrindod Wells, Powys.
