Messrs Dodd take Championship One-Two at Carlisle Primestock Event
On Monday, 29th March 2010 the North West Limousin Cattle Breeders’ Association held their Annual Open Primestock Show & Sale within Borderway Mart, Carlisle.
An entry of 34 cattle were forward with the classes judged by Mr Gavin Little, Butcher, The Arcade, Penrith. The championship ticket was presented to a black steer shown by Messrs Dodd of West View, Temple Sowerby, Penrith. Their 590 kilo entry sold for 204p at £1206.50p and was knocked down to the judge, Mr Little.

Standing in the reserve champion position was a red heifer again shown by Messrs Dodd. This 511 kilo homebred heifer went for 186.5p at £953.02 to Messrs Riley Bros.
