Kim Steele-Nicholson wins Individual Title
During Beef Expo Ireland, held on Sunday 10th October 2010 within Kilkenny Mart in the Republic of Ireland, the Young Limousin Breeders ran their Anglo-Irish Stock Judging Competition. After some fierce competition and excellent displays, the prestigious team event was won by Northern Ireland represented by William McElroy, Kim Steele-Nicholson and Gary Hume. The best individual trophy went to Kim Steele-Nicholson.
This high profile event involved teams from Northern Ireland, England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland with the competition itself divided into three sections: stockjudging, reasons and showing. This year’s hosts were the Irish Limousin Cattle Society with Michael Gunn and James Wycherley proving to be excellent organisers. James Cooper and Rob Kirton, YLBC President and Chairman respectively, were also in attendance and the competition was judged by Paul Boal and Richard O’Beirne who were ably assisted by Bryan McElroy and Rob Kirton.
