Our first event for the New Year is the interbreed quiz which our club is hosting on Tuesday 24th February at the Anchor Inn, Whixley at 7.30pm. This is a fun evening attended by a number of cattle breeders clubs and is great fun for all the family. If you could please let me know approximate numbers before the evening so that supper can be booked.
Once again we are holding the Northern Limousin Extravaganza at Craven Cattle Marts, Skipton on Tuesday 12th May an afternoon and evening event where pedigree young bulls and heifers and crossbred animals sired by a Limousin can be shown in a safe environment before the show season. There will also be the annual BBQ and sale on the following day of pedigree Limousin cattle.
Once again our club is in charge of the Limousin cattle stand at The National Beef Association Beef Expo, which this year is to be held at York Auction on 21st May, any suggestions for cattle to be put on the stand would be extremely helpful if you could please let Karl know and Phyllis and her team will also be requiring donations of cakes and biscuits. Please come and join us for refreshments on the stand!
